June 26, 2020– The parent survey will remain open, but we are planning for all students to return to school in person with health guidelines in place to the greatest extent possible. We plan to provide chrome books K-12 in case of school closures due to illness, provide transportation on buses, and we have stocked up on cleaning supplies and sanitizer. We are getting our buildings ready! After reading comments, your top concerns are masks, social distancing measures, transportation, sharing materials, and options for virtual learning for students with health concerns or illness. Jackson County Schools will communicate more detailed plans by July 3. We will continue to monitor the situation and consult with health officials. Of course, recommendations could change. Thank you so much for your thoughtful, sincere comments, concerns, and suggestions. All of them are being considered.
